The guy in Australia who built the intercooler for my supercharged Ninja H2 also built a supercharger for Yamaha.

But why stretch the bike? It makes me cringe a little inside when I see that happen to bikes though I can see why they do it in straight racing bikes.

Thanks for sharing. The bike really does sound incredible with that supercharger, and I'm sure it performs extremely well as a track bike. That being said these extension conversions are costly and dramatically impact the way a bike is ridden. Would love to see it in action.

Extension is for lower time (acceleration ).Acting as a lever,if the tire is sticky,the bike will accelerate instead of flipping. Drag bike performance.

This is one reason that even if I have money for a high end ducati bike, a Yamaha will still be on my list of bike makers to own a bike from, there's just something about how they sound. Probably why Lexus/Toyota keeps going back for their tuning.
