So while my bike is still brand new I took it in to get a professional paint wrap on panels that are exposed to rock hits. The product is called Suntek paint protection film. The panels I had wrapped are the entire front fender, the 2 panels above the headlight, and the gas tank. Even if you were standing 12" from the bike you would not be able to tell it's covering the paint. I highly recommend this process if you want to keep your bike looking new.

If you don't mind, what was the ball park pricing on that?
I paid $500 to have that job done. You can get this done for a lot less but not in this quality, this shop works primarily on really high-end cars. When I had my Ninja H2 fully wrapped with the Suntek it was a $1,200 job.
