Well I finnaly got my new touring comfort seat in the mail today. Already had the 40mm drop pegs on. Also installed the Graves slipon exhaust. Went for a ride after work. Mama likes the new seat and pegs. I like the seat and Graves slipon. We both happy.

I'm going to order the small quick disconnect hard trunk Yamaha sells with the back rest pad on it. When we doubble up it will work fine as a back rest for her. When I'm alone I'll just twist a knob and remove it.She is always taking pictures and I'm afraid if I have to excellerate suddenly, she gonna get ejected. It won't look that bad on the rack doubbled up? Saddle bag mounts, frame sliders, does it ever stop?lol.

The seat material is kinda like a micro fiber, smooth and luxurious to the touch. But grippy. My girl friend said there is no comparison to the stock one which was very hard and smallish. Mostly because of that little hump on the stock seat which doesent give much room for her to move forward and use the fatter part of the seat. For me I won't know how it will do on a long ride since the colder weather is among us. I did go for a 60 mile ride after work yesterday in the t wisties and the seat is of course far better. I've owned 30 bikes since 1973 and at least 40 seats, lol. This seat from Yamaha is first class as a factory option.Oh and it doesent weigh more than the stock seat like a Corbin seat would.

Do you have a link to see the seat you're talking about?

Just look up the topic here on the forum. What accessories are you going to get next. The seat is in there.

Bike looks great! Curious who makes those rear pegs? Would like to get a set for mine.
Just go on ebay and do a search for 40mm drop rear motorcycle foot pegs. It will come up. They have many colors and styles also.

I am looking into purchasing the comfort seat. I am 5'8 and I can just barely flat foot it. For people in that height range, how much taller is the comfort seat vs the stock seat?
Didn't make that much of a difference to me from the stock seat and I'm still tippy toed at 5'6". I wear boots ,which helps out alot.
