Hi everyone, I have seen a few post on the ais removal for the fz10. My question has to do with the fault code and the ais pump plug. I have read that if you cut the pump wires and solder them together, that it's all that is needed to fool the ecu into thinking the ais pump is still there. Is this true? When I look at the block off kits on eBay that come with the little plug, I can't tell if it has a little inline resistor or not. Not sure if the circuit just needs to be closed too fool the ecu or if there has to be a certain amount of resistance. I definitely do not want to throw a code and have my cruise control not work consider, it's one of my favorite things on this bike and a new addiction.
