I got the black one! I love the gray one but I saw the black one and had to have it! Felt like it was a better base for customization.

Good choice, always thought this was a bike that looked better in monotone and obviously black helps to create that. Sometimes too much contrast between colors can do more harm than good to a certain design from the way I see it.

Nice, have you began taking out those break-in miles yet?

On that note about breaking it in, keeps posted if you plan on tracking gas mileage and paying attention to certain things since that will help put around here in knowing what we're dealing with

Almost hit the 600 mark this weekend alone. I've been getting a consistent 30-31 mpg

Glad to see my mileage isn't far off, but as some one else here has mentioned on a FZ-10 "you get more smiles per mile" then any other bike.

After breaking mine in and then being able to stretch it's legs I agree 1000%

Thats what I noticed when originally looking at its powerband. They placed some good emphasis on what really benefits us in typical day to day riding.

Well for sure a slip-on, but I love the sound of it the way it is already . And doing some powder coating as well. Those are my main priorities for now.

I am super glad I went with the Raven Black myself! I just can't get used to the Armor Grey. But, to each their own.

I am super glad I went with the Raven Black myself! I just can't get used to the Armor Grey. But, to each their own.

The word on the grape vine is that the raven black fz's have a different tune and put down about 9,000 hp. But Shhhhhhh.... don't tell the grey owners.


In all honesty I was torn between the two. I waited 2 months to see a black one in person. Every dealer within two hours of me all
Had the grey one.

Personally, too much black for myself, but the lime neon wheels took awhile to grow on me. I like them now except for the after ride cleaning they demand, black is an advantage there for sure. I personally would have gone for the blue if it was available at the time so the grey it was.
