I found a 2016 MT10 shop manual online and noticed when doing a comparison, the interval for the MT10 was 6,000 miles while my bike manual says 4,000 miles (FZ-10, 2017). What gives? I have the California-version of the bike, not sure if that really makes the difference or if weather is actually harsher here in California to warrant these significant changes. I'm coming up on 20,000 miles for my 2017 FZ10. Just wanted to get some feedback on this for those in the know.

Thanks,

Kristian

I’m changing my 2018 MT10 every 4000 miles like the manual says. I would not run my oil any longer than that. I’m using full synthetic.
