Hi guys, I am new here. and planning to get an MT10 when it arrives in PH this month.

but I am very short. around 5'4 with short seams. I am a little bit comfortable with the height R3. with MT07 tip toe with 1 foot.

So I was wondering if anyone has tried lowering their MT10 with kit or tires? I like it to be in the 29-30" seat height.

I have read that most lowering kits really have a negative impact on the handling. You not much shorter then I am at 5"7" with a 32" inseam so look at other possible alternatives. Between a bit lower stance and some inserts in your riding boots you may find a good balance. You're not too far from where I am and I use 1" 1/2" inserts in my boots to flat foot it. Doubling that really shouldn't be a problem.

Probably better to get comfortable with stopping with one foot on the ground instead of lowering the bike, I've also heard that it affects a bike's handling and used as a last ditch effort.
