Hello! Just picked up a matte raven fz10 and can't help but notice something swinging around or rattling in the fuel tank. I can hear it alongside the fuel sloshing around (though it continues a little longer after the fuel has stopped moving) and it makes light metal on metal scratching noises. I can replicate it just by picking the bike off of the side stand.

Is anyone else hearing this or did my dealer drop something into the tank? haha

Thanks!

Hmm? Guess I would have to hear that one myself. I did notice on my FZ10 that the EXUP cables were not locked tight from the factory where you adjust them under the seat on the right side . Also my clutch cable has a little notchy feeling half the time when I pull the clutch in. I read on another forum of bad clutch cables being replaced and rerouted because of rapid wearing of the outer caseing. I see a recall in the near future? Let us know if you find your noise.

Filled up with fuel and can only hear it just faintly. Reluctant to go straight to the dealer as they charge a fee if they don't find a "problem" but luckily seems like it isn't anything to worry about. Thanks for the help guys!

My clutch cable was doing that as well but now seems to have resolved the snatchy behavior, but when I mentioned it on the first service he mentioned it just may need to be worn in a bit, but you know how that goes. So far it does seem to be fine but when brand new it did it for about 800 miles.
