I was usually a Shoei fan for many years but last year decided to try an Arai Signet Q and have to say that out of all the helmets I've had it has the best fit and especially the best ventilation and visor quality out of any previous owned helmets.

While the Arai branded mirror visor was a bit pricey it's like looking through a pair of high end sunglasses.

I don't need to hook up comm stuff or speakers so I can't comment there, but otherwise it's a winner.

Subscribed for info. My HJC CL-16 is deafening loud on the highway. Looking at a replacement so can't wait to see everyone's input. Would love a shoei or arai, but a bit out of my price range.

I currently wear a Shark Skwal helmet. While it's not the quietest helmet I've worn, the other features outway the noise. I do a lot of riding at night because of my work shift, so this helmet works great for my situation.

- Drop down tinted visor allows me to use a clear shield for night without carrying/swapping shields for night/day.
- Built in LED's on front and rear for the night. I think most people think these are silly, but if they are giggling at me, they see me.
- Comes with a set of reflective decals for front, rear, and sides.
- Pinlock visor works great for fogging when the temperature starts dropping.

So far I am very pleased with the fit, finish, and quality of this helmet.

I've got a shoei gt air. After wearing a $150 hjc that was too big for me it's very nice. I have a sena 20s installed on mine and there are cutouts for the speakers inside the helmet already. So it doesn't feel any different with them in. If you don't close your visor completely there is a little bit of a whistle, but you can only expect that. There is some noise from the wind blasting your helmet, but again, that's to expect on a bike with no windshield. It's got a drop down visor that's tinted, and a clear shield. The ventilation works very well too.
