Hello boys and girls, new MT10 owner saying hello from Melbourne, Australia. I have paid deposit for MT10SP 2017, and waiting for delivery in a few days. So far I just test rode once the MT10. But wow, what an engine, and what a sweet handling bike. My previous ride was R1 '12, but I decided from now on keep the R's for track use only. (I guess I'm getting old and wise..) Can't wait to take my baby for a ride ! Cheers.

Welcome to the forum, many of us are doing the same thing, getting to old for a pure "sport bike" I am so much more comfortable of the FZ-10 then many of my old rides.
Just curious since you are getting the MT vs. the FZ were there different color options? I've seen the blue MT and really liked that one personally.

Yea ! Was a while since I was here at the forum.
I did about 1300 KM now, still another 300 will it's fully broken in, and I can open up the throttle !

Weird, why would they not? You guys do get R1M, and the MT10SP borrows some of it's goodies.
Yea there were options. Here in AU for this year I've seen the grey/black one, black wheels. And blue one, with Blue wheels.
For the MT10SP however, there are no options for colors, it's fixed, like for R1M. It's a nice kinda grey, blue, metallic, I like the color theme.
(Well I'm sure you've seen some pics on net)
