My first video with the GoPro setup.
Short ride from Sugar Bottom State Park to the Coralville Dam. Nothing too crazy. Got to be cautious with campers and boats coming in and out of the park areas. The road in between is littered with hidden driveways, regular drive ways and is a chip seal repaired road so gets a little sketchy in places. Just a really nice day to enjoy a ride and share the sweet song of the FZ10 with the Akrapovic 3/4 System.
At the 3:17 mark you see where I got crowded by an asshat in a truck!! GRRR!!! At the 12:07 mark you can see how easy the front comes up without even trying then I turn around and hit the quick shifter for a few bangs.

A lot of my riding is done with the clutch and all downshifts are with clutch since it is not a auto blipper. That setup is much more involved and more money. The QS is used for playing in remote areas and I also tend to use it when accelerating up to speed getting on to highways, on ramps to interstate or when passing cars. >


The mount for my bike is quite funny actually. I didn't want to put any of their adhesive mounts on the bike. So I came up with this. I took a 95lb rated pull weight round magnet and mounted the GoPro mounts to it. I use a thin protection barrier that I made from some material that my carbon fiber parts came shipped in to keep the magnet from scratching the tank. It is set in between the gas cap and the front plastic piece on the tank. Since that spot slants forward, that is why the camera is tilted back. This compensates for the slant.

GoPro 4 and I did use the case. No external microphone but I am working on one that will mount under the tail section to get a little better note from the exhaust.

Years ago I used a mini camcorder when I was down at the Tail of Dragon on my 07 R1. Video quality is terrible compared to todays standards. LOL GoPro is the only digital system I have used.
