So as I am getting ready to leave work last night, I went through the usual routine of starting the FZ up, then putting my helmet and gloves on. The only problem is it did not start on the first 4 attempts. I cranked it 4 times, each time approximately 3 second burst, nothing.

I turned the key switch off, let it sit for about 10 seconds, and tried again. It fired right up as normal. WTF? My dealer already took care of the kickstand switch service bulletin, so I am at a loss of what and why it would not start. I will be keeping an eye on it.

To avoid the obvious question:

No, the bike did not fall over and trigger tilt kill switch. It was fresh off the kick stand for the ride home.

If it was a hardley able too, I say it was normal. But since it is a Yamaha I say it was just a gas fart that had to pass?
