I finnaly installed the front and rear EBC HH pads.Holy crap what a difference this brake upgrade made. It's worth every penny. Guess the stock pads were not as grabby on initial bite. Rear made a difference but the front is one finger difference now. Just do it. Got mine on ebay ,all three for $94.00 shipped.

Another thing to make sure of when buying aftermarket pads, they may need to be heated up before they start biting properly. The first time I ran aftermarket pads I thought they were horrible until they got warm enough and they stopped on a dime.

Also, you need to bed in new pads and warm them up a bit before the perform at optimal levels. There's a lot of options out there depending on your budget and EBC is one of the friendlier brands unless you want to splurge for a set of Brembo.

Keep us posted on how those pads treat you and how long they last.
It's too bad for something that seems so cheap that Yamaha couldn't improve on it. Lucky for EBC

They working just fine. One of the must do improvements the FZ10 needs for an upgrade. Go for it. Nothing but positive feed back from those who have installed them.

I've run EBC before on a few bikes and they're always a good upgrade vs. OEM.

However, for anyone taking their bike to the track I've found Vesrah RJL-XX pads to be awesome. They have great initial bite and consistent feel to them. Of course, YMMV but I really like the Vesrah.
