DPM Race Windshield

does anyone have experience with DPM Race products? I may have found the perfect windshield to blend with the rest of the FZ-10 design.

This is the first windshield I've seen that actually matches the lines and works with the bike. This is gorgeous. What's the price on one of these ?

The shield for the FZ8 is listed for 135 Euro on their website... but the FZ10 isn't listed for products yet.

They have one for the MT-10 so I assume it'll fit the FZ-10 as well. They'er selling it for €136,80 which is not bad for what you're getting.

It should be the same fit ? That's not bad at all for a product that looks that dope. Is there a link to this product ? Otherwise I'll just keep asking questions lol, what material is it ??

From what I saw today on their website it is laser cut aluminum. I'm going to order one myself.

I just sent an email asking them about it especially in regard to shipping to a U.S. address. I will update this post when I get any info. I really like this one.

I did receive a reply from DPM and they verified it would fit the US version of our bikes. But just an FYI when you get to the point of ordering the cost is bit up there with all the required charges etc. For me it came to over 215.00 so I'm going to hold off on it for the moment.

UPDATE, ok so I decided to go ahead and place an order, and they do it a bit different then we are used to. Once you accept the charges and all the assorted extras, shipping, value added tax, etc it came to 215 Euros.

Once they review the order and accept it then they will email you the request for payment information (credit card). I haven't receive that yet, but here was the original email I received for my request on if it was good to go on the USA version of the MT-10:

Hello,

This is to confirm that the product is compatible with the model USA Yamaha
MT10 - FZ10 2017.
For added security, you can send a photo.
If you place your order on our website, the system will make a cost
estimate.
At the end you decide whether to confirm your order.

Kind of an interesting process buying something from Italy. Obviously your browser's translate feature comes in very handy unless you are fluent in Italian. Came in very useful for me today since the only thing that was sent in English was the original question I had on compatibility.

In the end with all the charges and taxes etc. etc. it came out to 238.00 US. Now I just need to wait

Approx $100 more than the Puig windscreen... but it does look a lot better. Now it's the waiting game to see what it's like in use!

Received my tracking info today and after translating it it appears it is being delivered by USPS which is how I had received some others from the UK. Now I just have to hope that the volcano that erupted in Italy wasn't going to affect delivery

Just received an update on the shipping, it hit the USA at Jamaica New York so shouldn't be too much longer now. Was originally shipped the 17th from Italy.

Hmm.. 3 business days so far if we include the day it left. That's not too bad to be honest, I've had packages that were supposed to come in 7 business days, show up in 13. That was really frustrating.

One small mention to everyone. Those four hex nuts that are on the front fairing. Check yours, they were so loose I first thought I had the wrong size hex wrench. All four of mine were barely more then finger tight. Maybe the way they are supposed to be but personally when I install the DPM shield I'll be putting blue locktite on the four hex bolts.

The bike is just now impatiently waiting for the install of the new shield, or is that me?
