Had this issue on other bikes recently too, but man I wish they would lighten up on the loctite. I have to go into the dealer 35 miles down the road just to have them loosen the passenger foot peg hex bolts so that I can install the mounts for my Shad bags.

Also, why would you use a fastener that is so much less on the hardness scale then a typical tool is? Makes no sense. I stopped before I damaged the hex but they are really soft metal.

Most other fasteners no problem, unless you own a Ducati then forget it. Every single fastener on that bike was glued in place.

Rant over :)

Greetings all. I've had my FZ-10 for a couple of weeks now and I just put rear stand sliders (in the rear-most screw hall at the end of the swing arm) and I'll be damned if one side of the swing arm isn't almost one full inch taller than the other. Am I going crazy? Has anyone run into this?
I had to rig my rear stand so the starboard side would be higher than the port side to make the bike sit leveled. WTF?
