I saw these on eBay and had to have them. Should be here on the 18th, I'll post more pictures of them after I install them and give everyone my input.
HA! I just had new tires put on my FZ10 friday. Well my bike almost fell off the operating table at the bike shop. The mechanic held it up and they stopped it from falling completely off. Well my left side swing arm got a few scratches in it so the owner of the shop ordered those same carbon fiber swing arm covers because he felt bad about what happened and even though they touched it up pretty good and I said it was fine, he insisted he already ordered them for me. So ill be getting a free set soon myself,LOL. Might have to buy the front carbon fiber fender now to match it?. I told him that carbon fiber on a sport bike is like chrome on a cruiser, when you install one you can't stop installing more carbon fiber parts :crying:

Just out of curiosity, how many miles on the set of tires you're replacing and what did you decide on for replacement? When the time comes I'm thinking Pilot 3's or 4's if they make the size.

I got 3445 miles out of the rest tire and had alot more in the front left. But I went with the Bridgestone SP 021 hyper sports. So I changed the front one too.

It was all pretty self explanatory, I think it turned out really well. The swingwarm was a breeze but the frame cover was kind of a pain. Mainly because I've never taken this bikes plastics off yet, but once I figured out how (with the help of another forum) it was pretty easy. You've got to take 40-60 grit sandpaper and scuff up where they come in contact with the bike so the silicone grips better.

Definitely cool as heck. Always thought 40-60 grit would be too aggressive though. Wouldn't something like 800 suffice or is that too fine of a grit ? I presume sand it down and clean it with mineral spirits or isoprop alcohol?

The point of scuffing it up is so the silicone they give you for and adhesive has somewhere to stick to. And it's not like sanding wood either. After I scuffed it up I used duplicolor paint prep to clean it. I was worried about them sticking on and holding, but they are on there really good. I put a small bead on the part I scuffed, placed the cover on, pulled it back off, and then put a thicker bead on the inside of the cover where the rest was.

I finnaly installed the CF swing arm covers, rear wheel hugger, right side engine small cover and also the front fender. The C.F. front fender was slighty crooked and I had to put a 1/8 aluminum shim on one of the top side bolts just on one side. That did the trick.

Looks good! Do you have a full titanium system??

No, the header is stock. But the rest of the new Graves EVR 3/4 exup system is titanium and CF.
