I have decided that I can't see paying $350+ for a slip on, so I will be cutting down the OEM canister to hopefully gain a little more sound. After that, I may disable the EXUP(cables) and wire it open, but we will see.

I think it may look pretty decent when done, hopefully.:wink2:

If you could actually take a step by step and make a DIY out of it, that would be greatly appreciated. Even a video would be super cool. As well, please take a before and after! Often because of the differences in camera qualities, it's hard to tell how much of a difference a modification like this makes unless there's a direct comparison of before and after with the same recording equipment.

So here is the finished product. I snapped a few pictures and will do a write up on the procedure. I didn't have a chance to start it up since it's a little late, but I will put ears on it in the morning.

It looks pretty short, and it is, but I think it blends in nicely.
