So.. happened to be searching for some cool FZ-10 pictures (like to see what people do, yes I'm nosey lol) but I came across this and personally it's something I wouldn't do but I can see many people doing it.

Have any of you guys had some selfie stick and ride experiences ?

Any cool pictures to share ?

Lol gotta love selfie-sticks, personally never used one, at all. But it's always funny to see people walking around with them. If I seen someone riding with one, I would probably find that quite humorous, just hope they don't lose their phone!

Seen some people ride with them and I just don't think it's a good idea. If you really want to film while riding, mount a couple Go Pro's; one in the front looking up at you and one from as far back as the seat looking forward.

I understand people want a higher up angle and what not but the risks involved don't seem to make it worth it. You could lose you're phone easily, I can imagine being so distracted that you could potentially end up in an accident, there's a lot of factors where things could end up badly.

You say selfie, I say narcissism...

Before selfies were cool, a person would likely be labeled narcissistic for being so concerned about self image. Strapping a camera to your helmet or bike for some ride footage is one thing, but a selfie stick is just plain ridiculous.

I think it's actually cooler to just mount a camera to your bike for close to the ground or POV shots. I'll never understand the selfie fad that's taken the world by storm. Case in point, the motorcycle shots from the gopro commercial.
