The Fender Extender doesn't look that bad at all, I would probably opt out of the "carbon fiber look" and go for black, but for the price it's not that bad

I tried to put on an extender on the FZ-09. Made by Puig. It was held on by some super sticky 3M tape. Washed underneath of the fender and then used alcohol. Next morning the extender was on the ground. Tried it again with the same results. Maybe I should have used acetone, but I was afraid of eating the finish.
I refrained from drilling holes... YMMV

That's pretty upsetting to hear.. possibly use a different adhesive maybe ? The alcohol should be good enough to clean it, I wouldn't use acetone either. Drilling holes is also something I'm against doing

I should have went with my gut instinct. Silicone!

Silicone could get real messy really quickly though =/ that scares me lol

Perhaps gorilla glue !

Best thing to do is practice with it before applying to something where it really matters. Seen tech's do that, tech's that were new to installing windshields. Of course that's one of the last things you want to mess up.

That is definitely not something you want to mess up lol. That can turn lethal, really quickly.

These look really quality. They would look gorgeous on the FZ-10. Was kind of hoping people would start offering the coloured carbon. Like the red/black twill or something
